The new addition to our family! ...only for one day. We adopted this adorable little 7 week old puppy, who we dubbed Oso (bear, en espanol). After one sleepless night and a reality check, we returned him and he found another loving (and permanent) home that same day. But what a cutie!

Things are good here. Since I left Hanna's house, I've met lots of cool travels and haven't been alone for more than a few hours. New Years was intense and fun but I'm tired and am heading to a nearby island for a couple of days. I've only been in the water 3 times for surfing and the waves are pretty nonexistent. I have about a week before I go to the orphanage, so getting barreled is pretty much the only thing on my to do list. We'll see what happens.
